No ride pass option in uber app

If you’re like most people, you use them on a regular basis—but the two apps differ in a couple of big ways, price being the most obvious. If you’re new to ride-sharing, Uber is the go-to option for most people, but Lyft is definitely worth considering.

I just registered through uber, and online in the payment section it shows I have a free first ride up to $20 and it is active. However on the app it only shows my payment info. Isn't it supposed to also show the promo? I've tried reinstalling/updating the app, but it still doesn't show.
